The Battle of Shrewsbury

While studying for my diploma in Military History I produced an account of the Battle of Shrewsbury, founght between Henry IV and Henry Percy ("Hotspur") in July 1403. Several of the papers produced for that study may be found here in downloadable PDF files.

First you may find a summary of the battle and then more detailed accounts of various aspects of it. First the account of the causes of the conflict, then an account of the events leading up to the battle, and the battle itself. Backgound information may be found in a discussion of the art of war in the period and finally a description of the available sources.
